For the survey, I would ask a number of questions. Do you live with your parents? Do you drive your take in car? Do you support a family? Do you have a job? Do you own a brook? With the answers I get from here, I can determine the participants social status (roughly) and give it a number. For example, make a exfoliation of 1 to 10 with 1 being a piteous social status and 10 being a high one. To address the variable of desirousy, again its about the questions I ask. With answers to these questions, I think I can get an idea of how jealous a person is and be able to put them on a scale like the one for social status. 1 on the scale would be really jealous and 10 would be not jealous at all.
I think that the higher the social status of a person, the less jealous they will be because when a person has succeeded as distant as society is concerned they have nothing leave to envy or want. Social status negatively correlates to jealousy.
