Race and Your residential district Debby Smith ETH 125 February 6, 2011 Traci Ketter Axia College Race and Your Community Community members of the City of Simi Valley, California conduct a high percentage of white Americans as a dissolve of the population. Many members of this community, myself included, run through German heritage or ancestry. There are other heathenities represented as part of the population of the community, but their percentage rates are a good deal lower. After considering the white population, next would come the Hispanic American, hence African American, and lastly the Asian American, other ethnic groups have less than 1% of the population. In this final project I will answer the question of how racial issues relate to my community whether it be in my neighborhood, local government, service groups, clubs, schools, or the workplace. eventually I will give a personal count of a community member who is Asian American and what their purview is on racial issues in this community.

The leadership as advantageously as the local government in my community consists of a high percentage of white American holding to a belief of bourgeois values in politics, companionable, family, and religious faith. Since I am a part of the white American with conservative values group, the leadership in this community treats me with kindness, respect, and consider my contributions and opinions to this community. Community members that are of a different ethnicity group are do by in the same way if they follow the laws of the community as well as appear to assimilate to the social norms of this community. The social norms meaning having conservative values and living to obtain the American Dream by suit in to the middle to fastness income group.
