For the most part of the story Owens wife seems homogeneous she has two different

soulalities. In the mendicity she is desire the typical fuck up girl that needs all of the

attention on her. She too has one of those personalities that shows that she is not a comminuted

person at all. She gets mad that Owen is pickings care of his mentally disabled sister.

Which is really messed up because Owen promised his mom that he would shoot for care of

her rightfulness before his mom died .It is as if she tries to behavior like a good person in the

begging because when Owens mom was alive and taking care of his sister Brigid she says

that she making loves Brigid and would become over care of her any time. Then Owens mom died leaving

Owen to take care of Brigid his wife got mad and really jealous that she was taking her

attention away. Owens wife got so angry that she wanted to institutionalize Brigid in a nursing home.

The reason that Owens wife didnt like him taking care of Brigid was because all of the

time that he spent with her instead of spoiling his wife. She was also very esurient and dint

like that Owen spending money on her. It seems like she is a very inconsiderate person.





Who would try to make someone they love put a mentally challenged family member in a

nursing home just because shes not acquiring as much attention.


At the end of the story it seems like she lightens up and gets a little better. Its not

like I am saying that she becomes a good person, however defiantly becomes a better person

then she was. The whole reason I say that she becomes a better person is because after her

husband died she pulled her self together and started to do the right things. After her

husband died she even took care of Brigid which was huge in her sudden character
