Platos Analogy of the Cave is an fusion of Platos ideologies and theories about the cosmea that adult male are lifespan in. The theories cover a variety of different subjects that help to two improve and enhance peoples lives, such as the process that people have to go through and through in order to succeed true indoctrinatement and also how humans perceive the world. Plato hopes that through the Analogy of the Cave people tummy begin to understand a more complex and caprice and, more importantly, people sight begin to live their lives differently.
The cup of tea of Platos possible action is that it can be applied passim history and it is always evident within societies. This is because the similitude is, to a large degree, a challenge for people to realise in that respect is more to the world then meets the eye and that people lead to escape the superficial habits that they have and begin to perceive the world in a much better way. The Analogy of the Cave is one of the many ideologies that are covered in The commonwealth which includes Platos main theories. Within the book it is implied that Plato believed that only through philosophy can people realise what is good and achieve true knowledge.
On this basis Plato put forward the opinion that it should not be the monarchy or government that should run the country. This is because they do not have knowledge of what is good so whence can lead people astray, this would be inevitably openhanded for the people however in contrast a philosopher is in a much better position to lead as they can educate the people so they too can achieve true knowledge and receive enlightenment.
Within the analogy of the cave there are many metaphors that carry a very deep meaning and a provocative message.
