The databases that put one over been chosen are the University of Dundee library Catalogue, Intute and the Cumulative Index to nursing and Allied Health (CINAHL). The library entry search provided twain search results. Using asthma provided 187 results, this was further reduced to 51 when the endorse limit was applied (the publication date). The library register does not have an choice to apply the third limit. Intute provided one area of results as there was no option to apply limit two or three, so asthma provided 152 resources when searched. CINAHL tho was able to apply all three limits.



Asthma provided 15732 resources, when the second limit existence applied this was reduced to 8381, and when the final limit of the age range was applied this was further reduced to 3310 resources.

The Library catalogue is presented in a professional and straightforward mould, resulting in an easy to use database. It has a basic search option where the user is able to enter a word/ wording and is able to dictate what field they would like to search (title, author, ISBN). The catalogue also has a more advanced search option where you are able to be more specific and luxuriant in the search request. This option allows up to three field and words/phrases to be searched and provides an option to limit the types of materials, the location and the dates of publications being searched.
