The exploration of the humane mind is an on-going undertaking. It has constantly been the center of our curiosity throughout history. Op wile is a small yet relatively ambiguous branch of this psychological exploration in which the exhibition will examine. The combination of sunglasses of black and white or colours along with geometrical shapes of different cuticles both serve to give off the sentiment of movement, hidden images, flashing/vibration, swelling or warping. These effects be due to the information being gathered by the human eye, which is then processed in the brain and formulates into a misrepresent perception of the actual physical measurement of the stimulus image. The exhibition will chronologically display the different styles of Op art through its most commonly known and appealing forms that are metamorphic, 2D, 3D and anamorphic art.

Octavio Ocampo is a Mexican sculptor and painter. He is known for several puzzle outs in his wryly sardonic paintings in which the detailed images are entangledly intertwined together to create a larger image.
