Blooms Taxonomy
Cognitive, affective, and psychomotor are the triad physiological globe of a functions of Blooms Taxonomy. Within these deuce-ace domains lies the virtue of how we all learn. They describe in great detail three different ship ceaseal to learn and each of those three ways has its own description of how it works. These a great tools that we can all use if we can understand them. They provide help in our future in the food service world.
The cognitive domain involves knowledge and the development of intellectual skills (Clark). There are sise main categories which show intellectual abilities and skills from the simplest of behaviors to the more than complex. It starts with knowledge, the recalling of data or information, and then comes comprehension and then application, followed by analysis and synthesis, which builds the bodily structure or pattern of diverse elements, and finally evaluation. Bloom set six levels within the cognitive domain, from the simple recall or recognition of facts, as the lowest level, through increasingly more complex and abstract mental levels, to the highest order which is classified as evaluation (Blooms). The application category is in my opinion the or so important here.
This is when we take what we learn in say a classroom for from an experience and put it to use in our lives. I have learned how to make many different things in the past seven days and I will beat out to apply them in my next job. by doing this I will hope in force(p)y advance in my job move up in the ranks.
The affective domain deals with the growth in feelings and ruttish areas (Clark). This domain talks about how we deal with things emotionally. Within this domain there another six main categories in which it can be broken down into. Receiving phenomena, responding to said phenomena this is where participation takes tooshie of the learner.
