Abstract
This paper analyzes the study done by A. C. Swann, M. Lijffijt, S. D. Lane, J. L. Steinberg, and F. G. Moeller at the University of Texas to understand the relationship between bipolar roughness and antisocial personality overthrow (ASPD) in respect to impulsiveness. They prepare that the impulsiveness in subjects was high if they had bipolar disorder. ASPD didnt have an equal on impulsiveness in combination with bipolar disorder; however, subjects with ASPD had a higher rate of impulsiveness than the control group. They measured the impulsivity of their subjects by use the Barratt Impulsiveness Scale (BIS-11). This proved to be an effective method for ascertain how ofttimes impulsiveness a subject had. Also, they found that if the subject assure bipolar disorder early in their life, they had a higher chance of developing ASPD, or similar disorders, along with bipolar disorder.
